Ombudsman office

ECMC has established an ombudsman office to assist borrowers who:

  • have a defaulted student loan held by ECMC
  • have unresolved issues regarding the defaulted student loan
  • have exhausted all avenues to secure a resolution

If you have unresolved loan issues and your loan is not in default, contact the holder of your loan.

Submit your request for assistance
To get started, you must complete the Ombudsman Intake Form. Once a completed form is received by the ombudsman office, we will investigate the issue and respond to you within 10 days. You can either:

Issue not resolved by the ECMC Ombudsman Office
